Ursula James

Ursula is the premier hypnotherapy practitioner and teacher in the UK, and a Patron of Anxiety UK and the National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV). Ursula is Chair of the Medical School Hypnosis Association (MSHA) - the only UK-based hypnosis research organization and a Visiting Teaching Fellow at Oxford University Medical School. She has authored three books on the subject: The Clinical Hypnosis Textbook; You Can Be Amazing - Transform your life with hypnosis and You Can Think Yourself Thin.

As well as running Thames Medical Lectures which provides training in clinical hypnosis at 11 UK medical schools (including Oxford and Cambridge University Medical Schools), she can be seen on Channel 5, where her ground-breaking programme Sex, Lies and Hypnosis uses hypnosis to work with couples in crisis.

Phil Benjamin  PDCHyp FBSCH FHEA

Former Honorary Senior Tutor, St Georges Medical School, University of London

Phil Benjamin is a widely experienced clinical hypnotherapist and hypnotherapy lecturer and a Fellow of the British Society for Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH).

After becoming a senior lecturer in clinical hypnosis, he decided to take hypnotherapy training to the medical profession. He has now qualifed to teach university students and lectures at various medical schools including Oxford, Cambridge, St Georges and QMUL, London.

He is still a hypnotherapy tutor, providing guidance and assistance to lay hypnotherapy students in training, and is involved in hypnotherapy research and development, being the editor of the MedHyp eZine - a two-monthly online magazine that distributes news of recent research in the world of hypnosis and hypnotherapy.

Dr Mark Feldman  MBBS MRCGP(Dist) DFFP DoccMed MDCH ILTM

Dr Feldman is a senior partner in a general medical practice and is a trainer responsible for GP registrars with the London Deanery, University of London.

He is Chairman and a founder member of the British Association of Medical Hypnosis (BAMH). A consultant for the Institute of Personnel and Development in workplace stress, he also trains HR professionals and works with corporate bodies including Aventis Pharma, Axial Automotive, Anheuser Busch and Lloyds TSB Women’s group, among others. In addition, Dr Feldman is a co-founder of the Expert System Smoking Cessation programme and is involved in research into the use of clinical hypnosis in habit breaking.

Lorraine Flaherty  PDCHyp MBSCH MPNLP

Lorraine Flaherty is a practising hypnotherapist and Master NLP Practitioner who specialises in motivational work and is presently writing a book on past life regression as a therapeutic tool.

She currently lectures at St Georges Medical School and Barts and the London, both of the University of London, as well as Hull-York Medical School, having trained and subsequently lectured nationally and internationally for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH). She also regularly assists Richard Bandler and Paul McKenna with their NLP, weight loss and motivational seminars.

She has been involved in the world of personal development for many years and has successful private practices in central and south west London.

Zeki Cobanoglu  DCH

Zeki Cobanoglu has worked with a wide range of companies focusing on customer service, management and performance improvement. His work has taken him across the world, giving him a unique cultural awareness and business knowledge across all continents. His clients have also benefited from his fluency in both Spanish and Turkish.

A practicing hypnotherapist operating in London and Barcelona, he also has a key presence in Istanbul where he is supported by Turkey’s leading Alternative, Complementary and Holistic Therapy organisation where he is running the first international You Can Be Amazing workshops.

Zeki is playing a key role in the continued expansion of the unique training style and expertise of Hypnova across the globe.

Rick Sayer  PDCHyp MBSCH

Rick trained extensively with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH) and gained a wealth of experience in practice both in London and Kent before taking his skills to the Continent, providing an invaluable and much needed service to English speaking Ex-pats.

His addition to the team coincides with his return to general practice in this country. Whilst specialising in the fields of disruptive sleep patterns and personality restructuring, his earlier involvement in the language arts and broadcasting have provided him with a sound foundation and background knowledge in the treatment of performance-related anxiety in all of its manifestations.

He is a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (MBSCH).

Sharon Pinner  BA DipHyp MBSCH

Sharon Pinner has a professional background in teaching and senior management across the education sector, local government, and the business world. A hypnosis graduate, Sharon specialises in women's health and wellbeing, offering practical and informed strategies for body confidence, good parenting, work-life balance, fulfilling relationships, and easier pregnancy.

Her specialist hypnoprogrammes combine hypnotherapy with lifestyle and performance coaching.

Sharon is a NLP Practitioner, and works extensively with clients to optimise performance in examinations, driving tests, interviews and presentations.

Sharon is also currently writing a book on living with a child with Aspergers Syndrome, drawn from her own experiences.

Mark Kidd-May  MBSCH

Mark Kidd-May has been helping people to make transformational changes for nearly 20 years. Using tools including hypnosis, NLP and coaching, he works with individuals and organisations to clarify and meet their goals.

He gained distinction in his hypnotherapy qualifications and subsequently became a senior lecturer for his college, presenting master classes on peak performance.

A qualified trainer, Mark develops and presents workshops and training courses to a range of organisations from the Royal College of Nursing to Whitbread Leisure Group and as a graduate of Tony Robbins Mastery University he can offers a different perspective to solving issues.
